PRIMARY FUNCTION: The job of the Education Screening Technician is established for the purpose/s of assisting in the assessment process of students referred for interventions or for further evaluation to assist with determining eligibility for special education, observing students in the classroom; compiling and distributing a wide variety of material and reports; and administering academic tests under the guidance of the Lead Regional Psychologist.

  

REQUIREMENTS:

 

1. Educational Level:

Bachelor's Degree in job related field preferred or comparable training and experience.

2. Certification/License:

 N/A

3. Experience:

Three years related work experience

4. Physical Activities:

Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities

5. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Written and oral communication; organizational skills; ability to adhere to strict confidentiality and a high ethical standard.
