PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provides administrative process coordination to the principal, teachers, parents, and students ensuring Magnet requirements are being met.
REQUIREMENTS:

1. Educational Level:
|
Master's degree in job related field
|
2. Certification/License:
|
Must hold or meet criteria to obtain Georgia clear renewable certificate in Elementary Education; Master's level certification (T5).
|
3. Experience:
|
Must have five years of successful classroom teaching experience
|
4. Physical Activities:
|
Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities

5. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
|
Written and oral communication; organization; strong curriculum and technology background.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Must be familiar with and able to promote an understanding of the Magnet Program.
- Assists personnel new to the program and acts as a resource to Magnet teachers as to training opportunities and materials.
- Effectively communicates and works with teacher teams in the development and review of curriculum documents
- Coordinates program orders, allocations and accounting for textbooks and materials.
- Develops and implements a plan for weekly staff development pertaining to the overall school program.
- Coordinates admissions for Magnet Program and directs and guides the Magnet curriculum.
- Communicates and works as the school liaison ensuring magnet requirements are being met.
- Coordinates all program correspondence and constructs annual Magnet Program calendar.
- Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
